This is my personal birthday gift to my friend :iconrazenhashikado:

The scene shows the brothers RAZEN (blue one, left side) and JAZEN (purple one, right side) performing a sparring fight. As you can see, JAZEN has the high ground… but this doesn’t have to mean that he would win this fight. RAZEN has the upper hand, despite his disadvantage… for now.

I love both armor styles, designed by my friend himself! The japanese touch in both armors (obviously RAZEN’S design) in combination with some medieval european touch is quite appealing. Also, I have an affinity for katana-style blades.
And I like JAZEN most! Maybe, because I’ve drawn him for the first time now! ^^”

Happy Birthday, my friend! I hope you like my gift. It took me quite a while to finish and I have tried to follow all the references provided by you (adding a personal touch of my own, of course)! ;-)

This isn’t my plante RULUS… this is Razen’s world! If you look closer, you can see different types of trees and woods in the background. This combination of plants would not exsist here, but it’s fantasy – so what?!

Ah sparring can be so much fun, tough do think unless you are really good or have an advantage high ground low ground could be seen as unfair, though I doubt such. I do quite like the skill that these dragons from all appearance seem to be quite well matched. Your sense of landscape you set these two in looks quite vast with its forest and mountain then you give that otherworldly form is the two moons one normal looking, the other red like Mars, so I do think well done as a B-day gift well done. :) :thumbsup:

Really admirable! I´m pretty sure that he´ll love this ^ ^

The way you draw both characters is great and what cough my eyes the difference of the scaly and the feathered wings of the characters, it really looks good :D
